Biography

Scott is an experienced data analytics professional with extensive knowledge in developing insights and strategic initiatives by harnessing the power of big data.

Prior to his role with Azurium, Scott was Head of Data Analytics for Kmart (Wesfarmers Group) where he was responsible for data analytics, delivering strategic intelligence to maximise engagement with Kmart's customers (including Flybuys – the Southern Hemisphere’s largest Loyalty program) and optimising Kmart’s product & price mix. He played an integral role in Kmart’s transformation program that has resulted in it becoming the largest and most profitable department store brand in Australia.

In addition, Scott has previously worked for other large retailers like Coles and Priceline and also has experience in pharmacy distribution, digital advertising and FMCG sectors.

He has strong and specific experience in developing insights into loyalty programs, category management, customer segmentation, scenario modelling, customer propensities, CRM and promotional campaigns. He is able to use data analytics to guide and influence business strategy through insights.
